    A friend of a friend of a friend says it's already done! Rumor? Probably...but the info came from someone credible.

    This is all from a hedge fund...I think they are just trying to get their stock prices up so they can sell at a profit...Gordon Bethune, the same guy who said that Delta would be better off as a stand-alone carrier is the one making the presentations for the hedge fund so I wonder how much he is getting paid...

    I see a DL-NW merger in the future, but not with United...

    Chiming in with this a little late but even without taking the latest news into account, a DL/NW merger makes more sense than a DL/UA merger, especially from DL's standpoint. I know they want to be the surviving carrier and I don't think merging with UA would let that happen. Besides, who wants to have ORD for a hub.
