I, for one, have conveniently forgot that little tidbit of info and cleared SkyTeam employees into first class when available...I think it is a stupid contractual rule that bigwigs that fly positive space first class everywhere they go thought up...[/b]
Generally the policy is not negotiated by bigwigs that fly pos space F class. More than likely one or more of your Skyteam parters have a policy that do not allow their own employees to fly in the premium cabin and, therefore, could not agree to accept yours in theri F/J class. Since staff travel agreements are either reciprocal or, as is the case with some of the alliances, multilateral, what's good for one is good for all. Economy class was probably the common denominator.

I'm sure DL employees would not find it too pleasing if your head office negotiated an agreement that allowed employees of XX in any cabin of a DL flight, while DL employees were limited to economy on the flights of XX.

We agree with you about the DL non-dress code!!! And for taking care of Sky Team non-revs. I know some DL FA's that still "take care" of fellow non-revs. We have a friend who is a FA for Air Tran and she always "looks out" for non-revs on her flights.

When are you travelling?

Beginning May 6th, it will be free. Well, the fare will be free. On that route, you'll still have international taxes to take care of.
What is your position? Do you work counter/res stuff, or do you not have access to ticket yourself?

If you need, I'll PM you with specific ticketing instructions.

Let me reiterate, if you're traveling before May 6th, you must still pay the ZED and international taxes. If you're traveling May 6th or later, the fare will be zero, but you must pay international taxes.

Let me know if you need help w/anything.
