Hi everyone! I just heard from my co-worker that Houston has stopped all international non-revving on Continental. Is this true?? I was planning on getting tickets today to Buenos Aires. If it's suspended, does anyone know when it will end? Please let me know! Thank you!

by the way, I work for Frontier Airlines, and we have a counter agreement with Continental out of Orange County. We're wanting to fly to EZE (Buenos Aires) out of Houston in June. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Can't speak for CO, but at DL we occasionally will get a bulletin informing us that buddy pass travel is embargoed and nonreving not recommended for a specific location(CUN, MEX, ATH). I don't think we've ever embargoed employee nonreving, but that might have happened a few months ago when we had to send a 777 to LOS to pick up a weeks worth of bags pulled for weight on the 763ER flights.

Anyway though, I've never seen all int'l nonrev travel from any gateway embargoed. I doubt that is the case at IAH, perhaps just the route to EZE is embargoed. I've been looking to go there, and EZE, GIG, GRU, SCL are all awful to try for right now, on DL anyway.

    Good luck

Loads have looked good ATL/EZE for June since it's off-season. Didn't ck GIG or GRU due to visa$$ tho.

Not true. You can still nonrev on CO international. However last week they changed the price of any buddy passes issued after Jun 1 will be double the pass charge...

Wow, that's good to know.. I wonder if it's just at this station.. my co-worker was traveling out of EWR a couple weeks ago on CO, and they told him the same thing.. that no non-rev international travel was being allowed. I'm going to call the manager here at SNA to see if maybe it's just up to the station managers, and for whatever reason she's not allowing it.
