Hi guys,

I work in RES for Continental. I worked from home in the past but went back to the office. I am considering going home again. I know that Jet Blue offers a similar program but does any other airline?

To work from home with Continental you have to reside in the same state as a reservations office. They tell us because if we travel out of state then the state we are in wants to collect taxes on us. How are other airlines or companies for that matter working with this.

Working from home ???
I can understand printing a boarding pass on your home printer or using an electronic one but once you have checked in the passenger how do you get their luggage from your home to the aircraft ???

AA has a work from home program for RES too, but no idea how it works.

When I left DL there was no work from home plan for res that I was aware of. I did hear of a few part time positions for people that responded to customer correspondence. Office personnel were allowed to sometimes for special circumstances but most not on a regular basis. It was up to the Manager's discretion. Some were cool with it. Others were afraid of loosing control.
