Hey Jumper I can't find the other thread... did your friend who wanted to sell their piece of the red tail end up doing so? They've all dried up on Ebay

Far Better to have listed and lost, than to have never have listed at all.
My first aviation job was working for a commuter that was part of the NorthWest Airlines "AIRLINK". We even had our planes painted NWA colors and the guy that painted the planes ( 2 SD-360 Shorts) was a Filipino worker there, (SPN) and he did an excellent job. It had a Quantas like kangaroo on the tail too. NWA would fly into GUM, and SPN and the airlink was us that would get the passangers to neighboring islands in GUM and CNMI. At that time, we had ID-95 through NWA, and they even comat'd my tools out there when I finished up my shipboard contract when they hired me on. My badge even had a NORTHWEST AIRLINK logo. Cheers to NWA. Well done.

My friend could always bring it here I guess when he comes next month. I checked and it was at USD$46 which is bargain basement... lot of bids too.I think she would take an offer.

Maybe when I get back from hols and have cash back i'll check again or hit up your friend.
I wonder if at some point they will be quite valuable? Most defunct airlines stuff commands a high price these days

If only ! As an Ex Pan Am'er I have drawers of the stuff ... depends what's in vogue and demand for an item
Qantas you're right. Thanks for the correction.
The DL family is trying to get the NW folks to learn the DL Culture..IE...customer service. We've flown with NW cabin crew and they haven't learned the DL Way....
