    Take the fast track through the Airport with United's new premier line service

    "Customers who want to breeze to their flights more quickly may now do so with United's new Premier Line...."

    "Starting at $25, Premier Line provides access to three types of specially reserved lines that offer customers conveniece at check-in, security and boarding, including boarding for connecting flights."

    I thought this was a perk for UA's high mileage fliers. Now it's - show me the money!

    http://www.flyclear.com/where/

    I have a Clear membership thru 12/2009 and have yet to decide if I will renew it for $159 after that date--the non-discounted price would be $199--even tho the original cost was $100_+ $28 TSA vetting fee (increased price big time--gee, surprise!!)

    I fly frequently [w/out benefit of airline ID] as employee spouse so it averages less than $10 check-in--I use all 18 of my TO's which means 9 in CVG, If I have to opt for LGA instead of JFK to make start my TO connect they offer it at Terminal 2
    JFk, so I skip right past everyone to the machine and it is VERY COOL!!! and efficient this way. I fly an additional 10 domestic legs--all out of CVG. Unless in uniform, there is no express lane to TSA nirvana at CVG, so that's the benefit I enjoy.
    I can only hope they increase the airports that are served by clear but if everybody's uncle is doing it, whooppdeeedoo...

    M767, since you're the only "clear" member I know, a few questions;
    Do you still have to show picture ID?
    Are you still subject to secondary screening?
    Can you bring a full bottle of Pepsi through security?
    Do you have to take your shoes off?

    This inquiring mind wants to know.

    I take my shoes off at the belt but that's changing soon. Along with laptops in bag--not bins.
    The new clear card will have photo so I'll show that w/seat request. I will only need passport on initial checkin and prob again when I get to JFK or ATL gates.
    100ml liquid limits in bags like everyone else.
    The next renewal fee has gone way up--GROSS--so I decided not to re-up after Dec 2009 expiry unless they give a better price than $159. They aso have to complete the terminal 3 clear lanes at JFK (which might take yrs!!) and they need better service in ATL (where we should have dedicated clear lanes and private concierges) Oh, yeah, I like that part--they take your stuff for you and place it on the belt--and give you bins for loose stuff.
    I've never had secondary search since I got it, but who knows--don't jinx me!!
