Gotta love the CR9-CRJ sub. The other fun part with the CRJ is that you've got an aircraft with 50 seats in the cabin, and 1 jumpseat and a weight restriction of 42 pax. So even though that jumpseat exists, nobody can occupy it. We had it once where we just made it within weight, but the COG was forward, so we had to add ballast to the bin to move the COG within limits. Adding ballast would put us overweight. We had to remove some weight from the front of the aircraft, aka, the jumpseater. I've never seen the weight and balance issues on any aircraft like on the CRJ.
