I could do without the PS tickets. I just want my employee priority. A few weeks ago, looking by date on travelnet, I'm like 5th in line. So I'm sitting at the gate in FCO as the final boarding calls are made. I am number ONE. I was the only employee listed for that flight. The rest were all parents, non dependents, and retirees. My reward for being an active employee is that I get on ahead of these people. That's the way it should be.

Jumper I'm not sure what kind of res system they've got you guys on right now. How it is in my station, the NW computer was left at the NW gate. At the ticket counter, there're a couple NW computers. They run on the NW AOP/PARS system. Now, AOP is so simple if everything works. I just have no clue of how to fix issues or manually make stuff happen. On DLmatic, I know the entries are long and sometimes don't make sense, but I know them and am used to them and was taught them. If a flight number changed and a ticket needs reissued, I can do that in about 3 seconds. If we're oversold and I need to find flights on another airline and get the DBC and associated vouchers, I can easily do that. The training I recieved in AOP/PARS was basically:

Q How do I check someone in?
A Push this to check someone in.
Q But what if I need to add in infant to the PNR?
A That won't happen
Q That happens all the time, what about reissuing a ticket because the flight number changed 6 times since the pax purchased it?
A Again, that will never happen, here's the res number.

All the time I'm fumbling with this system and I look like an idiot in front of pax. 9E is ready for departure, but they need a special document first. I only need to make 4 phone calls and wait on hold about 30 minutes until I get the right person that can tell me how to print it so they can depart. Now I need to back up the missed connections.

I've heard that DLmatic will be the res system going forward, have you heard when that will be?
