I've had the worst time getting ID tkts from airport CS desk. I feel like it's such an imposition to buy one. Everyone gets involved because I always get the ONE person who has no idea HOW to enter the info. I'm sure I've overpaid on more than one occasion. I hope zeds are easier to do. It was a real imposition to go the airport, park $$$, wait in line (more parking $$) then get prices for ID's before making set plans for an overseas trip. Every destination and/or ailrine tkt varied (IF the agent got it right in the first place--XYZ class, code whatever, lowest restricted fare basis + fees blah blah blah.)[/b]
That is surprisingly easy compared to what we have to do!

We only just cut over to an online system, so we have to complete an online "concession voucher", email that to our local ticket officer at airport at least 3 days before travel, pay by credit card or bank transfer (no cash!), get paper tickets issued, then list (for example interline on QF listing requires ticket numbers).

Only a few months ago before the online system, we had to fill out a request another 3 days in advance, get it approved by HR, convince manager to be bothered issuing paper concession voucher then do the rest.

This is for our own tickets and interline tickets, all take just as long!

I'd love to be able to get some from a counter
