    Default QF to DFW!

    May 16th, QF will ditch SFO and begin a 4 x weekly SYD-DFW-BNE with B747.

    I'd think that would need some payload restrictions to work though

    Not sure why BNE either, weird place.

    Regardless, can't wait to be on that one!

    Yes very exciting

    I believe BNE is due to the headwinds on the way back, being that little bit closer. Hopefully QF get the connecting traffic with AA they are after, and this route survives.

    Wait, so QF is pulling out of SFO completely? That's surprising, but I suppose DFW would be better if you had to choose one over the other, being an AA hub and all (both being on OneWorld). Plus, UA has some SFO-AU flights, too...

    Well nonstop from Sydney, and to Brisbane...

    I think the thru traffic LAX-DFW was already quite high. I never took the SFO flight ex SYD, too many creative hippie types for my liking, and from memory it was usually full
