understanding delta companion pass
single delta ramp employee trying to add my sister as my companion so she can fly to see her children and grandchildren. how does the companion pass work and how do I add her? I had my girlfriend as my companion for some time but since that didn't work out, I want to let my sister use these companion pass.
are your parents active on your pass privs? I'm not sure but I believe that changes their status (it used to be a difference in their fees. priority) sift thru the travelnet stuff and see what the scoop is now--there are 2 types of companion passes--"non-spouse" and the travel companion (kinda like non-dependent child)
Hopefully, someone else here is mroe familiar since the merger rules have changed from the junk I used to know!

I think, and someone correct me if I'm wrong. Companions travel at the same priority as you and are eligible for yield fares vs. buddy fare. You can only change your travel companion once a year, you can deactivate at any point, but you can only activate one person a year. You should be able to add a travel companion on DeltaNet under Employee Self Service.
Check Employe Self-service because things may have changed since the merger. Also, there are different rules for "Companions" and "Partners".
