    Default Non revving DL ATL-SYD

Does anyone know if I can catch and earlier ATL-LAX flight and jump on the LAX- SYD portion later? We won't be able to get out of ATL on the 730pm flight that continues in LAX on to SYD.....We will have to catch the morning flight and wait but can we do this? Thanks

DL 17. I looked at the delta website and it looks like you have any option to get to LAX and then take SYD portion so I answered my own question....however do you know about loads and changes of getting on? S3C priority - 2 of us and a lap child. YUK.

well, I have no clue as to your dates. I've seen yesterday's w/20 NRs a few got business and about 50 seats leftover.
today has 30 on the list for 50 seats total

many buddy passes on most lists so you're ahead of the game that way. Can't you get a seat and "holder" for lapchild? That has got to be misery for all of you.
I know Id think YUK if you were sitting next to me...( no kids here--that's why I can't think of what they call a kid holder!) How old is child BTW? they have those baby sling beds at bulkheads, don't they?
I'd be more concerned about getting back to the States w/cargo.

Well the kid holder doesn't meet the NZ/Aust guidelines. If I used it over there, I would get a ticket since they are both communist countries and bust you for everything out of the norm...I should know I am an Aussie AND a kiwi so I know the system.........Yes it would be nice on the plane but a heavy contraption to lug for only a car ride. I think an ambien and a glass of wine will help and of course, maybe some nice kind granny type will take pity on me

I coildn't resist--you're giving your kid Ambien and wine?? car seat--is that what they use on planes?? geeze--call me ignorant!!
    harhar!!
You can't you just get something usable on the flight and dump it? There are countries with mor elawyers than the US and you can't use just any carseat?
    PS--
My alter-ego is from Palmerston North, but I've never been there...Her name is Hilliary MacIntosh if you ever meet her.

Both dates look great--have a wine for my birthday on the 29th!

Can you bay back up passes on QF? I'd recommend those as they use bigger equipment (744 and 380) and usually the non-rev list is much shorter than on US carriers. I've heard from various sources that non-revs might at times not make the flight due to weight penalties. Best of luck to you and enjoy OZ, its a great land with awsome
