Default BA terminates staff travel agreement with DL

Don't know if it will affect anyones plans but BA have terminated their staff travel agreement with DL with immediate effect. No paper tickets already issued will be accepted.
Apparently BA have made this decision for the same reason as it did with LH ... DL has decided that it will not exchange e-tickets ... may be the start of a slippery slope for DL agreements with other carriers

Paul, not too sure how it panned out with LH and DL. UA do not have E ticketing facilities with BA for interline travel, however, we are able to purchase ZED tickets online via Lime Management, there is a small fee, Lime Management also runs the product for our BA Travelcards for duty travel, again a fee, but it's duty travel, so claimed back. We had to enroll to use the service for pleasure travel, but had access within 24 hours. Not sure how it works in reverse for BA staff travelling on UA, but we are still accepting paper tickets for Interline travel, so probably it's status quo for BA.

The Eticket is an issue I guess DL does not want to deal with the issuance. Yes, the transition was a pain but now it seems to run. I bet you it will be like that for all Zedtravel because it will be less costly.
The advantage of having an Ezedticket is whatever you will be in the world, as long as you can call your nonrev desk and have a credit card and email you will be able to get your ticket.
You will not have to go to your airline ticket counter.
B the way if I am not mistaking AF have their Zed tickets electronics.

DL and LH have maintained their ID agreements via myIDtravel. So it's now all eticket ID travel between the two airlines

the DL agreement with BA is actually SUSPENDED, and it is said to be reinstated at a very next stage of their interline e-ticketing negotiations

Doubtful unless BA joins myIDTravel, which could happen I suppose. Crazier things have happened.
