Thank you for asking. It's a wonder this man was overseas for he must have come in contact with this french canadian magazine character DAN COOPER. Which was very popular in Europe too. Authorities recently had a new suspect in mind but the partial finger prints and DNA proved inconclusive. Their suspect in mind has since died.
I thought people found bits of his parachute and he was assumed dead?

The bits of parachute that was found in the suspected area where he presumably jumped were not the same parachute make up as the one Cooper ordered and used. It's easy to assume he died in the jump and never made it to the ground, but where is the body? Kind of an easy way out instead of really looking for the guy. No body, nothing. I think this guy had to have some plan. Maybe somebody down below waiting for him. Maybe he was a good survivalist. We just don't know, probably never will. That's the part that gechya.
