    Default Airlines and myIDtravel.com

    Hi folks,

I work for TAP Portugal and so far we can buy ZED tickets (stand-by) on some airlines through the website myIDtravel.com. However, with many other airlines, that is still not possible.

I would like to ask my fellow colleagues of other companies: do you know when your airline will allow OAL members to buy ZED tickets through myIDtravel.com?
Or, do you know when your company will join myIDtravel platform?

I' am specifically interested in the following companies:

    - American Airlines
    - Brussels Airlines
    - Swiss

    - United Airlines
    - US Airways

If anyone has that information... please share it.
    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Alves

    Hi Alves,

I'm not sure when US Airways will join this system, however, I am pretty sure you could buy a zed paper ticket from your airline and then list for a US flight.

    Regards,

    Chepos

    Hi Chepos,

    Yes, I can do that.
But with myIDtravel I can also buy the ticket and list at the same time. Right know that is not possible with US flights through the 'normal way' (we have to contact US directly to list ourselves).

I hope US can join myIDtravel soon!

    Regards,
    Alves

We just received notice a few days ago here at Southwest, that we'll be joining the myIDtravel program soon. Will know more info in the next couple of weeks.

I work for WestJet and so far we have access to Air France, Delta, KLM, Cathay Pacific, Allegiant, Condor, Dragonair, Emirates, Era Aviation, Estonian, First Air, Hawaiian, JetBlue, and Virigin America.

I know there are more Airlines joining soon as well.

It is a great system. It is easy to use, and lets you do everything (book, change and cancel). This really opens up the possibilities when travelling standby.

We received notice from our company that eff. 1st April all OAL staff travel is to be ticketed via myIDtravel and standy by travel is suspended with any airlines that are not in the programme. These were a handful of mainly smaller carriers. So no more printing paper tickets or running over to the staff travel desk. On checking the myIDtravel website however, I only saw those that were already participating from last year, without any new additions. I was expecting a long list of almost all IATA airlines. Hopefully just a technical glitch or transition problem. Having used myIDtravel, I find it a fantastic system. It gives a flexibility in planning trips and working out alternatives that's so important when non-reving

Currently, DL folks can't get ezeds for Thai Airways on IDtravel--TG is having trouble processing our credit cards. So, we're temporarily getting paper tickets until further notice. Sadly, I can't even price one on the calculator, since they should be E...anyone have access to pricing for BKK/DPS/BKK?
