    Default I'm back and I'm....Confused?

    Hey Guys and Gals,

After a very long hiatus I finally found my way back to my favorite Nonrev site.

    OK now the questions.

The wifey and I would like to go to St. Maarten and want to know the best times to try.

    Any suggestions?

Thank you all in advance for the great answers.

    Skipper

I'd probably shoot for early December--Tuesday/Wed travel.

Thank You very much. Ok next question. Since the buyout (big mistake) of Mesaba by Pinnacle, do you or anyone else know who was have pass privileges with and how to access it? It was Delta but wifey thinks it changed.

    Thanks again.

Did you even check on your employee site? I see Pinnacle listed on deltanet as DeltaCNX. You fly as S3C.

So I should just look under deltanet? In my wife's situation she is one of the few Mesaba employees still in MN. And getting info from Pinnacle is like pulling teeth.

If she can access deltanet as Mesaba employee--go to interline travelnet and work thru the tabs, etc. All tkts or listings can be booked online. Let me know if that works for you.

You have to pay the annual pass fee of $50 for non rev travel.

OK back again sorry for the hiatus. So since we last were here I have gotten hired at Pinnacle as a Crew Scheduler. I had to commute for training and work for almost 3 months. I love flying but that was a lot of flying.

I am trying to plan a trip to Lake Powell in Utah with the Family. Looking for the best times to travel there.

    Glad to be back.

Man, the problem with that is there really isn't an airport nearby, at least not that I recognize. Your best bet is probably Flagstaff, but you'd have to get a ZED on US Airways, and that also requires 6 months seniority. SGU isn't too bad, but that's where SkyWest's headquarters are. You're going to get a lot of nonrevs, and a few seats held on the EMB-120s for weight restriction. Maybe CDC. Don't worry about what time of year is best, especially for places like that. Just check loads and if it seems reasonable, do it.

And remember, getting from MSP-SLC has more options than you think. If you can't get a nonstop, look into intermediate cities, like RAP or something. Sometimes you can keep the same plane going through. I did that once with OMA, since I worked for OO and my DL benefits only extended to OO-operated flights since I didn't touch the Delta system.
