I was quite disappointed in all the hype with New York and New Jersey getting all the news coverage. I was really wanting to see other damage from Ocean City, Maryland, and other points more inland like Philadelphia, Baltimore, Eastern shore of MD, and Delmarva. Would have like to have seen more extended coverage than watching the same scene over and over on Battery Park Manhattan, the flooded subway system, the overhanging crane and Atlantic City's boardwalk in New Jersey. Grant it, the damage there was probably worse and more to talk about, but I would have liked to have seen other coverage aside those two states. I was disappointed with CNN and the Weather Channel, all only monitoring city of New York and stupid transformer explosions like it was some big deal. They even made a big deal out of cutting up trees on battery park with chain saws. I would have like to have seen better coverage on the snows west of the storm. They only talked about West Virginia, but would have liked to have seen better coverage of the effects further west like in Gary Indiana or Ohio. Very poor reporting aside New York and Jersey. I'm in Texas. Weather has been super, but going to warm up into the 80's. Luckily, lows will be in 60's when I work. Great working weather though I do prefer like its been this week, like 40's at night.
