I've used public transportation all over the place. Some areas stand out more than others. Obviously, the subway system in NYC has got to be the most proven and efficient system ever. There are others as in Washington DC that are more modern but not neccissarily more efficient. Bart I've used also. Very nice experience there too, a bit pricey too. In Houston, I've used the park and ride several times to go downtown. Very efficient and not a bad fare. I've used the monorail but that train ride downtown only runs about a couple of miles or so, not very efficient, they need to expand that experience some. I've used the rail system in Minneapolis, it was all right, but nothing to write home about either. I've used Chicago Transit Authority too, great system, from Chicago, you can to into Wisconsin and Indiana. Boston's MTA is very efficent, old and proven. Used bus system there and the subway system. I've used them in Miami, Jacksonville, Tallahassee. Best bus and train combination for me goes to.........I can't say. I think its always a great deal to ride public transportation because someone else gets to drive while you parlay.
