    Default United Non Rev Rules

Hoping someone can answer a few questions for me. My friend is a FA for United and is adding me as her only travel partner. (I am not her domestic partner or relative) She has no one else listed so I was wondering if she will still lose her buddy passes. If in fact she does not, would I be able to take my spouse with me on an international trip without her accompanying us? In other words, since I was her only and primary would I be qualified to escort my spouse? Last question is would I be able to list in business first? Any insight or additional info would be appreciated.

Your friend, the FA giving you the pass, is your first/best source for travel information. Ask her about your husband going along.

I got this one... sorry I'm late to the party, I'm in LAS now for a conference.

Is your friend married? If so, you're basically a "second" enrolled friend, even if she doesn't have another enrolled friend. This would make her forfeit buddy passes (outside of extended family). If not, she should have buddy passes, yes, and I'm quite certain that an enrolled friend is allowed to accompany a buddy pass outside of the lower 48.
