A winter weather advisory for CLT , GSO and ATL is in effect until noon for the current system.
The bulk of the cancellations were from the DFW, where 1,100 flights were canceled.
For today, most of those came in ATL and DFW. In ATL, the world's busiest airport,more than 105 departures and 125 arrivals have already been grounded for Tuesday.
