Yeah, this wouldn't actually be possible. The check in desk CAN issue a security pass without a valid ticket but the scanner would pop up with a "flight coupon required" message when trying to board the aircraft. I get that call all of the time. The CSA needs to get it fixed asap so they can board the guest and close out the flight. No way they got on without a valid ticket unless the CSA didn't scan anything and just let them board. If that happened, HA has a bigger problem.
