Hope you are still around and can give me some advice

I have been to SLC the past 2 winters to take my middle son snowboarding for a couple of days. So, I know a little about SLC

This year will be a little different. I am taking along one of my other sons, he is a little guy of 15...he is very small for his age, he could pass for 10. I am taking him along to get him ski lessons so that he can join the Ski Club at his school this winter (we have a short ski season in Maryland, and it starts late, maybe late December if we are lucky with snow So, we are going to try to get to SLC early season (November hopefully) so that he can be ready when Ski Club starts.

Do you have any recommmendations to which Ski Resorts would be best for lessons? We will be there for just a couple of days...do you think private lessons would be better? (He has skied once in his life a few years ago
