Take your fishing poles.. July is great for fishing there. You can catch some huge Salmon during the Salmon run in July.
Just check with the locals and they will tell you where to go and when to fish. Plan on some heavy duty line and have a blast. The drive should be great and you should see some moose as well as other wild life.
