Hi. Does anyone know any hotels in Oahu that give parents discounts when not traveling with the employee?
Try the Outrigger / Ohana chain. They give my sister ( non-employee ) an airline rate when she was in Oahu. It was a couple of years ago but they may still do it.

My family & I have been to Oahu many times and always call Outrigger/Ohana Hotels (1-800-462-6262), Aston Hotels (1-800-922-7866) and Marc Resorts (1-800-535-0085) who all give
airline discounts of 50%. I believe they all
give special rates to parents and partners travelling alone as long as they can show a non-rev pass with the employee # on it. Check with the hotel chain to make sure. We have stayed at the Honolulu Prince for $40US a night and others for $55US.
In Dec.2001 a group of 13 family members went
down and they gave us all airline rate rooms.

Try www.getleidinhawaii.com to arrange it. I did a search on Google.com and entered "hawaii lei greeting" and got several results.
