Has anyone had a good experience at a particular wedding chapel in vegas? I'm going in the spring. Thanks for your replies.

Hi Ce, welcome to the forum. Finding a wedding chapel in Vegas isn't hard, they're all over. Most are near the north end of the Strip and many of the hotels have chapels too.
My question would be what kind of wedding do you want, traditional, a theme wedding ( you can dress in medieval costumes at the Excalibur) or maybe you want an Elvis impersonator to officiate while you sit in a pink Cadillac, Vegas has it all. I will say the chapels in the hotels are much nicer, as some of the Strip chapels can be rather tacky, and I'm talking plastic flowers, battery-powered candles tacky.

I'm familiar with the Candlelight chapel near the Riviera Hotel on the Strip, it's nice however I encourage you to narrow your choices down and then go and look at a few chapels before your wedding, one of the pros of getting married in Vegas is short notice; trust me you do not want to choose a Vegas wedding chapel solely from a photo on the internet. Congratulations!

Thanks for the information. We want a traditional wedding. It doesn't matter if it is at a hotel or at a chapel away from the hotels. We want something under $1000 thats not tacky and doesn't just rush you in and out like cattle. I live in atlanta so it's not real convienent to just fly to vegas to look at chapels. Thanks again for your replies.

    Hi,
My husband and I got married two years ago at the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. We were married by Elvis and I wouldn't have changed a thing. the price was right (about 1500 for wedding, hotel and airfare). We had a great time and the wedding was short and sweet. If you want a stress free wedding vegas is the way to go.....you make a phone call, or couple of clicks on the internet, pick your flowers, etc and it's done. and the best part is...you have the entire strip and old downtown as your reception.
