You can find most of the information you need on the pass bureau's page on swalife.

But in general the only walkups I'm familiar with are UA, TZ and FL. None of which will help you out of DFW. Okay, maybe UA but then you'd connect at a hub to a HNL flight.

The big problem with our UA agreement is that the pass bureau claims not to know which Y fare the ID90 comes off of and are reluctant to quote anything. My advice, if you want UA, is to press the representative a little to give you an estimate or a range. They'll usually do that for you (based on personal experience) and they are usually in the ballpark.

From DFW the only nonstops to HNL I know of are with AA. The pass bureau can quote you the fare.

Other than that here are a few options:

    CO from IAH
    US/HP, TZ, HA from PHX
    TZ, HA from LAS
AA, UA, HA, TZ from LAX

For WN the cheapest would be TZ. From there it would be AA and HA. If you take CO, US/HP, UA they would connect you from DFW to their respective hubs. As for TZ and HA you would have to make your own way to them at one of the above cities.

Depending on your departure date and if you couldn't get on AA's nonstop svc from DFW, my advice to almost everyone is to get to LAX. That airport has more flights to more places in the islands, including HNL, than most other airports in the U.S. combined!

    An AA hint:
If you choose to try AA out of DFW make sure you request your pass for an LAX connection. DFW-LAX-HNL. This is an oddity with our AA agreement. If you request a pass nonstop DFW-HNL then that's the only flight they'll put you on. If the nonstop is full, you won't be eligible to take a connecting flight even if it's wide open. By ticketing the connection you have the option of the nonstop or the connecting flights, depending on loads. Requesting a nonstop routing on your pass will limit your options with AA.

Another thing is that our agreement with HA changed almost a year ago and at last check the pass bureau's web site still reflects the old agreement. To see the newest (and improved) HA agreement see the pass bureau's section of the May 2005 edition of luvlines.

    I hope this helps!
