Hawai'i in June? You might get lucky, but it all depends on how many backup passes you have in hand. In all honesty I think suicide would be easier than trying to non-rev to Hawai'i in June. Choose well, choose wisely and seriously consider a mid-week departure. Early June can be better than late June.

The article gives recommendations for out of the way accommodations, local food establishments and suggestions on how to see the real Maui, not just what's been built for tourists.
