We are parents of furloughed Delta employee. Would like to go from IND to MCO lv 12/29 return 1/5/06. Could someone please make recommendations as to which flights, backups, etc. We need to gain experience w/nonrev travel. We are retired, so flexible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Sheila

Hi Shelia, welcome aboard and welcome to the thrill a minute world of non-reving.
First you might want to read "How to nonrev", it's full of great tips for both rookies and veterans.

As a general rule, midweek, early morning flights are your best bets. Avoid the last flight of the day, that last flight is kinda like that last elephant in the line at the circus... she has no options. After you've narrowed your flights down, post your flight loads requests in the "checking loads forum"; hopefully you'll get good news.
