19 should not be a problem, the hotels that I have seen age restrictions posted all say 18 or over...always a good idea to check directly with the hotel to make sure no issues for a 19yo checking in...

Shouldn't be a problem for alot of hotels. They even offer baby sitters.

In Vegas and Atlantic City you have to be 21 to reserve a hotel room. (gambling etc) However, outside the gambling meccas I don' see a problem, since you can reserve a room on-line with a credit card ( assuming it's in our young, mature looking friend's name) and he/she can present the card at check-in.
