Can anyone tell me if they have bought the New York Pass card and if they thought it was good value.
I have also been looking at the 2008 NY City Entertainment Book - has anyone used this coupon book?
Thanks

Vicki,
In 2004 I bought a Pass Card primarily to see the Concorde stationed at the aircraft carrier museum on the west side. I forget what the name of that is offhand and I think its back to that spot but double check if your interested. It was easy to get to though, Just take 47th across from Times Square and you'll be there. Also I went to Madam Tussauds wax museum and I know with children that will be alot of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Take lots of pictures!! Those are just two of the things I did with the card. Enjoy the trip if you haven't already gone!

we lucked out that a tourist offered their NYPass that still had lots of stuff on it--transport, etc.
Take a look--there are 2 diff companies/passes. If you do several museums and attractions,it may pay off.
If you have kids --what ages? they may get bored and tired and then you waste the price (they aren't cheap)
Consult the BudgetTravel Magazine forum for good articles about using the pass cards.
There is so much to see in the city that's actually free--with 3 or more, sometimes mass transit is not a good idea. I love the reg buses because kids can see, instead of the faster ride on the subway. We loved the greyline boat and perhaps you''ll be able to see the new waterfalls exhibit??
