My hubby and son decided to do a day trip and catch the twins at the yankee stadium before it is demolished. I told them no, don't go, you are not getting home. Did they listen, nope. They got there without a hitch and got to the game. Then all flights were cancelling out of LGA due to weather (that was Wed), and they are now stuck in DSM for the night. They caught a flight LGA to DSM today that no one seemed to know about. The Last flight outta DSM today was full and they were the last 2 non revvers, and didn't make it. That was with a jump seater in the jumpseat. I should have just jumped in the car and got them when they made it to DSM, but the gate agent there told them, no problem, you will get on this flight so they waited it out. Now they are chillin at the Holiday Inn but at least they are getting to spend time together :>)
