This is a great destination. I noticed Vulindela had a few pics of Acapulco taken in July of this year. It's been about some three years since we last went to Acapulco. It's a neat city. Great sports bars, great view of the bay. Lots of lovers hanging out all along the MALECON. The cliff divers are a definate wonder. That's a great getaway. Only drawback is the cab ride from the airport to Acapulco. It's far and cost about 30 bucks or so.
Yes it is a fun place.
We were actually there in January 2007 and it was 90 degrees F, while being only 2 degrees F back home.
I do know that the airport is some ways out of town. We flew to Mexico City and drove to Acapulco with some friends.

i've heard that they've cut the driving time to Acapulco big time by drilling a hole through the mountain coming down from Mexico City or something like that. I'll have to get lost there some time again..
