June 23 is when they (DL/NW) combines non-rev benefits...good for mainline folks of both carriers but the others (OH, 9E, etc basically all of the connection carriers, gets the shaft...S3C priority. 9E really is getting the shaft, as DL will not allow buddy passes, is only giving "3" free transoceanic travel and NO parent passes!!!! 9E employees had it ALL at NWA!!!
What's going to happen to you guys @ Comair when you become RHS? Better or worse non-rev benefits?

Worse of course. Currently we have it the exact same as mainline, because we're wholly owned. Until June 23rd I travel as an S3, and I have an alotment of S2s to use on OH and DL. After June 23rd, I am an S3C, I have the same S2s, but they can only be used on OH, CP, XJ.

When I stop working for an airline(OH) and start working for a ground handling company(RHS), the benefits will stay the same as OH. BTW, have you seen the ridiculous names that RHS is considering?

"One Great Team"...I'm glad to know I'm not a part of it...

Do you have the source for the RHS non-rev benefits? I'm torn between staying with Pinnacle (now, Delta Connection) or going over to OH, which will be RHS sometime by 3rd qtr this year. I think we are initially being told parents will pay ZED fares (no free passes), no buddy passes and limited to 3 free transocanic flights per yr..beyond those three, it's $75 per leg + taxes, which is better than nothing. What about RHS and buddy passes, parents, ZED's, transoceanic flights being limited or not?

I've read that RHS will have the exact same benefits as OH post 6/23. I'm not certain about ZED agreements because RHS is not an airline. It is wholly owned, DLtech is not an airline and they were lumped into ZED agreements before folding back into DL. Being wholly owned, I don't see why RHS shouldn't have the same ZED agreements as DL.

$75/segment. That's not much better than nothing. The economy is down, but because of capacity cuts, most domestic flights are full. If you even get on a plane, you pay $75/segment? That really is terrible. I thought travel is supposed to be NON-REVENUE. Most domestic tickets I'm seeing right now are below $300, alot below $200. I actually, last week, sold a one way 2 segment ticket for $93 inclusive of tax. $93!!! That is for a confirmed pax demanding extra peanuts and being heavily compensated if bumped. MEM-ATL-MCO-ATL-MEM would be $300 to nonrev, that is awful.

3 T/O days? Are you supposed to just stay in Europe your second trip?

I'm very upset and insulted by the changes made to my flight benefits, but strictly on flight benefits alone, I would move to OH. Just get used to Ramen Noodles and PB+J.

And keep your eyes open for that mainline job. Mainline with 30 days seniority bumps you and me.

The "$75/segment" should have read "for transoceanic travel after the free 3 tranoceanic days, we are charged $75 each way for anywhere outside of North and South America (Asia, Europe, etc..we have unlimited North/South America, Caribbean.... Sorry for the confusion...late night last night.

As for mainline, I miss the mainline experience! Although not with DL, another major US carrier I was employed with was mainline and it was sweet!

Just saw today where Mainline Delta is hiring upstairs in my city so I hurry and put my app in! Ready Reserve...come 23 June, the RR's will have FULL, UNLIMITED flying as S3's!!

I am with Pinnacle and so that is not bad.
My parents don't use the benefits anyway.
Three International passes a year? That is about what I use anyway.
It is not as good as before but is ok with me.

yeah, I am also. Not too much different that what we had under NWA. I am glad we get to use the dlnet to list for flights! that in itself is a hugh difference! I hope that parents and buddy passes get worked out. I usually travel international to Asia more than 3 times a year so I'll have to eat the $75 /flight day but at least we are upgraded to business and first for free so it works out just about the same. Not much to complain about.

I was confused by the 3 flight days. I had thought it was 3 round trip Intl. flights a year.
What is with the 3? Some kind of joke? You can't use the third so why not give just 2 or 4?
At least we have more destinations to choose from. I was getting tired of our same 4 European cities of AMS, LHR, CDG, and FRA.

We are told there is a way to view what Intl taxes are for different legs on Travelnet.
I don't see it though. Is this true? Where do I find it?
