I'm looking to do a day trip to New York on Wednesday. Can anyone tell me how I should get to time square from LGA? Also, any other advice or tips are appreciated..
First time to New York too. What are some cool things to do? I'm going to arrive around 11am and leave around 7pm..

LGA to the city is easy.
M60 bus to Astoria station and then N or W line into Times Square.
As for things to see, there is tons! I have been probably 20 times and not even put a dent in all there is to see.
