Does anyone know whether NW still has agents at JFK other than in the Delta Terminal that is other than in Terminals 2 & 3? I need to know because I need to purchase my (Pinnacle-issued) ZED ticket at a "NWA ticket counter"..for now,. anyway. Thanks!

hal--I just spoke with NW CS on phone and she says:
1) no NW agents at JFK--all are uniformed/ID'd as DL and can ticket zeds, etc for either airline
2) there are no NW counters nor NW agents anymore
I haven't flown out of anywhere but ATL so I can't substantiate her statements

Jumper--what about you?

This is a great question.

They are fewer and fewer, and although DL can possibly issue ZEDS you NEED to get AS tickets from a NW agent or get them before travel, or you'll be paying ZED fares...

Thanks to all. Got my answer: couldn't find anyone at DL-JFK (Terminal 2-3) who wanted to get in to the NW system, had to traipse over to terminal 4. Jumper, what are 'AS' tickets? All we, as Pinnacle parents, can get now are ZED tickets on any airline, including DL and NW. And DL & NW are Zed High. AND...can't figure this at all: the Zed tix we got for the DL (ZEDH) flt FRA-JFK are $322, while LH (also ZEDH) are $180..comparing the tickets I see a huge difference in the taxes. Bought them both, AND Continental ZEDM, so we'll be sure to catch something back to NYC on Nov. 15. Wish us luck.
And our luxury run on DL seems to be over: no more upgrading at JFK (flew to NCE), the gate agent AND cabin crew were adamant, though there was plenty of space up front. We were still happy to get on, and there was plenty of stretching room in back.

AS = Alaska Airlines passes. Northwest and Alaska have a service charge agreement still effective that is cheaper than ZED.

Do you have any idea how long this is gonna last? I know our agreements with delta is zed fare. Hopefully they stick to the NW agreements.

Don't know for sure...but I suspect the ZED agreement with Delta will stay for now. But, it is the ZED LOW fare, not the ZED Medium fare like most of the other agreements.
