I kind of like the Civil War history. Being up in DC last week kind of got me going a little. I notice the CHURCH OF THE EPIPATHY which was built in the pre-civil war years. They had on the sidewalk a photo of the church then and you could compare the church right there. They mentioned that many a wounded soldiers were treated in that church. Also Fords Theatre where Lincoln was shot. I know OHIO played a major roll in the Civil War, and the Ohio River running separating the slave states and the free states. Also, two famous Generals from OHIO, GRANT and SHERMAN are forever remembered in Washington DC through bronze equestrian statues. Does anyone know if Cincinatti has some pretty good Civil War history to look at? Maybe some old foundries or buildings?
