Default Tell me what to do in YVR!

So, I'm going on my first real nonrev trip this weekend. Dinner at ORD doesn't really count, neither do the positive space trips to SLC or DEN for training. I really wanted to get out of the country at least for a little bit, and Canada seemed nice. I'm in DEN for training this week and next, and wanted to escape to YVR in between. I'll probably do the "walk the town" thing like normal, but if someone wants to guide me in a certain direction based on their experience, I'd definitely appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Granville island brewery! Other than that can't remember much... and that doesn't mean those two are linked. Is it hockey season?

    Sure it's pure coincidence. Cheers!

Deifnitely spend some time in Gastown - very cool place. Great restaurants and bars and some cool shops. If you have time, I would also recommend Stanley Park on the outskirts of downtown. Not sure about your transportation, but it is a great park to drive through and take pictures. With the winter olympics just there this year, there is plenty of leftovers from that as well. Vancouver is a great town, you will enjoy it.

Try the Capilano Suspension Bridge ( you can get there on the very good public transport system ) provided your OK with heights ( if not .. still go but keep your eyes shut and don't look down ).
If you go to Stanley Park ( it was grrat fun when I was a child ) keep an eye out for the seaplanes going in and out of the harbour.

Quick update: made it out of training early, tried to get a nonstop to YVR from DEN, but it was full. If only the party of 3 in front of me wouldn't split up :P . I took a flight boarding down the concourse to SLC, where I can get a DL/Skywest flight to Vancouver. There are a few seats left on that, including one in First, so I think I'll have my first ever flight in F
