Hi everyone, I have not had much experience flying non-rev, and I hope some of you more experienced flyers could shed some light on the procedures of flying non-rev from JFK.
I know US airports have some rather complicating security screening, what is it like in JFK, do we have to wait at the check in counter till we are assigned a seat, then go through security and immigration, or do we get a blank boarding pass at check in, check in the bags andgo throuugh the security to wait for a seat at the gate.
So far i have only flown non-rev from the airports in Frankfurt and Singapore. In frankfurt you get a blank boarding pass and wait for a seat at the gate, but for Singapore we have to wait at the check in counter with bags till the gate is almost closing then rush through security
I am flying FRA-JFK-FRA on Lufthansa.
Any advise will be great ! Thank you!
