Thread: The serious travel people

We nonrevers see the world usually via great hotel rates and car rental airline rates, free air fare. Usually average what? Maybe 3 days, maybe 4 days per trip? I don't know about you but my trips usually average 3 night stay somewhere. Usually, we find that plenty for a short hop to some city in Canada, Mexico or Central America, even in the USA. It's a great way to see many destinations even if its for three days. One can go to a three day destination and never see the outside of their fancy hotel room and pool, restaurant, bar. Others may wear a back pack and hit hostels and ride public transportation and criss cross a city or area while there for their three day stay. Some view the museums, others like the outdoors live viewing volcanos and Mayan ruins for instance. Some like the daytime activities and others live for the night life. I think the real travelers come from within and what they do while visiting places.
