These playoffs have been a bit disappointing for me to watch. I don't beleive that the best teams are in there. Some serious flukes, missed field goals, luck, misfortune, you name it. I think San Diego was by far the best team. How the Jets managed to roll into SD and beat them is really strange indeed. And the Vikings actually kicked the Saints butt in every category, but Peterson has some serious butterfingers and kept spilling the ball over and over. So now its the COLTS and the SAINTS, neither team of which I care for. I don't want to pick any of these teams because so far, I am batting a low percentage on this years playoff predictions. But its frustrating and I don't believe the two best teams are really in there.
As a life long Saints fan, I still can't believe it!!!!!
I am so freakin happy!
I was bummed near the end when Favre had a chance there but when we won the coin toss in OT, I had a great feeling.
When Hartley kicked it through, it was amazing!
We finally won the big one! No more Aints!!!!!
Note--Our first playoff game ever was back in the 1987-88 season and was also against the Vikes. We were smoked though, 44-10.
We went to a family Super Bowl/Mardi Gras party. Beads, Beer & Gumbo. Saints t-shirts, second line umbrellas, King Cake and professor Longhair and the Neville brothers' music all day long - the Saints were destined to win.
The game and the season were great.

We were talking about the spread, and I called N.O to romp the Colts, and called it a TWO TOUCHDOWN GAME for the Saints and if I was off on my predictions all year long, I hit it on this one square between the eyes. Too bad there was no money involved. But it wasn't really a romp, the game was good up until Manning throws the interception TD runback that iced it for N.O.
