I do really miss the ability to hop to wherever I want to go and do it in J class. I'm extremely happy with my new job and this company is incredible. I don't have interline benefits any more, but I travel confirmed commercially all the time, and ride our airplanes around. Just flew WN confirmed TUL-DAL-MSY today. The only time I've left CONUS in 2010 was for my few hours in Haiti. I'd love to ride J class across the N Atlantic, but I'd rather love going to work every day. The flight benefits were great at Regional Elite, but I would trade them off to join a good company in a second...and so far it's working out GREAT!

Do what you want to do. Try to balance fun and the future. Things may find a way to work out. Those flight bennys are great, but don't let them hold you from pursuing an opportunity. If the background check is all you need, then you got it. Hell, I passed. Good Luck!!

I totally agree, that is why I am only going back as a Ready Reserve, nothing too serious - just have fun and get my flight benefits back...I love working at the hospital and looking forward to getting going in school, if only money wasnt needed for school..hahaha...
