Default How to get from dtw to windsor canada

Ok I will be going to Ceasers in Windsor Canada and want to know the best way to get from dtw airport to Ceasers. Does anyone know if they have a shuttle or is it best to rent a car or take a cab? Shuttle prices seem pretty hgh but so are rental car rates. Is there a bus that would take us acroos the border? Any help would be appreciatted.

cj--is it weekend day? we got a compact at Budget--one day Friday AM pickup for a total of $31.50 (yep--TOTAL) 24 hrs ($2 more for midsize)
sign onto Budget thru DL (if you haven't yet) and keep track of Specials tab once you get your "account" set up (no prepay req'd YET)
Also some great rates at Alamo or Dollar but hit or miss and must register for free membership too.
Midweek can kill you w/biz rates

Two words, taxes and fees. Have a look at Travelocity: Rental Cars, Cheap Car Rental and Discount Rent a Car, it will give you a break down of the fees. You gonna love that 11.11% airport recovery fee. At least you're not rentlng a car out of PHX or MSY.....you'd faint.

Your'e welcome and you should be lucky to get $50 midweek. It's due to business travel and those companies are over a barrel. That's the other reason wkends are cheap--they have LOTS of cars available unless a special event is happening.
We got anotehr car for this Friday and it was $30 base, $7.50 fees/taxes--$5 more f I hadn't checked into the "specials" tab (Budget) That's with our fastbreak enrollment (no stopping at counter--get off shuttle and take a car in that category)
    Otherwise--HIT that jackpot!!

CJ--are you planning this week coming up? Keep in mind, Spirit pilots may be striking and those pax have to get on some flights that may ruin nonreving in ANY Spirit airport. I realize we're not talking about very many planes but if service comes to a halt, be ready to scramble. I have PM for you.

We are going in July. I did find a good rate with our discount. Just 132 fot the three days. The best I could find without is was in the 205 range so a pretty good savings. Well worth signing up for. I love airline discounts. We should gie discounts to all the hotel and car rental employees too.

I mean monetary discounts. All the airline employees expect hotel and car discounts but don't give any back in return. Not right.
