I took this photo in 2006, however, On Sunday, I attended mass here for the very first time during my San Antonio visits. Imagine that. Attending a church built in 1720 by the Spanish. (Yes, Spanish. Not Mexicans.) The Spanish controlled Mexico in 1720. It would not be until around 1821 when Mexico would win their independence from Spain.)
