    Thumbs up 747- tries to lift off without engines

    Yup, a 70 knot headwind and the right configuration, and the 747 wants to fly.

    Poor bird, she still thinks she's an airplane. Still impressive, but I'm sure it would have been a lot harder for that to happen if it were loaded, maybe even if it were a passenger plane instead of cargo, since I'm sure that's a lot lighter when empty. Hopefully they had some good chocks on that thing!
