I thought Suicide Cliff on Saipan was pretty "Hairy" to look at. You can actually see old WWII footage of a Japanese lady jumping off the cliff with her baby, but I can't imagine lots of warriors forced over a cliff by the hundreds. It must have been a humiliating loss and very sad day for many families in Oahu in 1975.
