Y Did The Chicken Cross The Road- Non-Rev Edition #4.
Once again it’s time to answer the question- Why did the chicken cross the road?
Let’s s see what Forum members have to say?
Why did the chicken cross the road?
AA-- Consider the emotional state of the chicken. Is she moving toward the corn on the other side of the road, or away from the cleaver on this?
AAZED (ZED Correspondent)-- The chicken crosses the road all the time at three different levels (High, Medium, Low) she also has plenty of back-ups -never had a problem.
Alaska Air-- What road? Only snow.
AMT-- I don’t know, I changed two wings, a beak and removed a bad egg and the silly thing still can’t fly
B767 Capt-- Miami! That chicken real-ly wanted to get to Miami.
BRITISK (London Correspondent) She had a crush on a Beef-eater. (Yeah I know, but I love this quote.)
Cheops-- The chicken kept promising it would cross, tonight, tonight, tonight…but it never did. Will it ever, I don’t know; but I had to go to work.
Chicken-- I’m crossing because I felt like it okay? I gotta explain my every move?
Customer Service-- There was a weather delay, I saw the chicken, she was quite agitated. I calmed her down, but when I went to get her a class of water, she flew the coop.
ddagencylv-- Fowl Airlines announces more “as the crow flies” routes and new chicken feed fares -“there’s no lower fares anywhere“.
Fly Fowl Airlines - the early birds of aviation!
Delta--“Keep Climbing” chicken. You love to cross roads and it shows.
Gate Agent-- Why does anyone cross a road? I mean why doesn’t anyone ever think to ask what the chicken was doing wandering around when her flight was boarding?
ispilot-- The chicken danced across the road, then spread it’s wings and flew away. That’s one dramatic chicken.
Migflanker-- To reveal why the chicken crossed the road would be to break my oath of secrecy. But I will say it’s part of an ancient ritual and that the chicken definitely crossed before the egg.
MRSDS1 (Arizona Correspondent)-- The chicken somersaulted her way across the road bringing traffic to a standstill. All the other chickens who had already made it to the other side joined her in a mad whirl of high-flying acrobatics. They have been booked for a U.S. tour which is to culminate with a joint performance with Cirque du Soleil at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
MRS767er(Specialty Travel Correspondent)-- She wanted to stretch her legs. Those flights to NRT are a long time to be cooped up, especially if you don’t get the flatbed pods. I recommended a great Japanese bath, saw it on Luxury Link, but the poor thing is just terrified of sitting in hot water- too bad.
Offroader-- Not only did she cross the road, but did it on skis carrying a half dozen eggs. Trust me that chicken’s a real “Snowbird“.
Pilot-- She was cleared to taxi
R.M. Andersen-- I don’t know, in my day we didn’t ask why the chicken crossed the road. Somebody told us the chicken crossed the road and that was good enough for us.
Southwest-- She shot like a rocket across the road accompanied by the Dallas philharmonic and fireworks. Had enough foresight to sell tickets and has make a profit on chicken crossings ever since.
29 Palms-- I didn’t see it. I was on a ship in the Gulf.
Tony757-- Actually the chicken didn’t cross the road, it was catapulted across by a jet blast. All that was left was two roasted chicken legs and half a wing…..*burp*
TSA-- The chicken had no picture ID. It was detained and searched in accordance with TSA procedures. We apologize for any embarrassment to the chicken.
Answers to questions and full details about the TSA screening program are available on the TSA website.
US Air-- Slyly crossed the road when no one was looking.
Vulindlela (Indianapolis Correspondent) The chicken crossed the road without any problems, probably because she plans well and waited until her kids are out for spring break.
United-- The chicken waltzed across the road to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue; complaining all the while about the lack of a new catchy slogan.
And know you know why the chicken crossed the road.
