    Cool Ugliest Airline Liveries

    As Air New Zealand unveils a new livery, take a look at some of the ugliest airline liveries (in the view of the Telegraph) to ever take to the skies.

    Now I have to disagree with some the Telegraph’s choices, as some of the liveries look rather nice to me; but as they say, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.


    My ugliest livery nominee
    ANA’s Pokemon plane. As if the livery wasn’t bad enough, the design was carried into the cabin - imagine 14 hours of looking at a Pokemon (whatever that is)
    Beat this if you can.

    Funny you should say that. I was flying IAH-DEN today, and played Pokemon on that flight for the first time in years since I had nothing else to do, and it wouldn't use my remaining tablet battery life that quickly compared to other options.

    Most of those "ugly" liveries were just fine. The Pokemon, however, is just too much of everything. I wonder who okayed that design? And, okay, maybe this is childish of me but Wizzair? Really?

    I love the HA livery!! I can't believe that was on the list! I also kinda like the new NZ planes... Then again most people I talk to don't like the new AA livery but I personally think it looks great. lol

    Is it wrong that I actually like most of these? It's nice to see companies actually get creative. Though the Germanwings one looks like the designer was colorblind and used the wrong hue, S7 looks a little out of place to have that kind of color with nothing else to go with it, Air Jamaica isn't as bad as it is outdated, and Wizz Air sounds more like something you'd encounter in a small room on the plane that you can only hope has enough blue juice to get you by.
