I was going to point out same. I can see all the youtube videos--could be the comedy sensation of the year!
Somehow I don't equate the general flying public going thru TSA with Lincoln Center theater patrons. Golllleeee, Mother, what's that contraption? Is it going to harm me? Why can't I see my belongings? I'm missing my cash and my jewelry! It won't work and I'm late for my flight! ad infinitum
Let's put more thought to where the feds are going to get the money to fund ANOTHER new gimmick that may/may not work...then scrap all the failures along with full body scanners, conveyors and xray units.
