I've seen 3 bottles for 9.99 at FIESTA supermarket, wines from Italy, Chile, California obviously not a refined or prized wines, but probably a no-named wines trying to make it to the market type of wines. They also have a whole aisle of wines running up to the higher end in quality and in price. So yes, they are out there but I'm sure Trader Joes wines aint no Robert Mondovi wine. I've heard of Trader Joes but its not close by. So you bought a couple of cases? Yea. Can't dazzle em with brilliance, dazzle them with some cheap wine made out to be expensive. The blondes fall for that one every time.
I see that was a few months back. Lucky for me I just recently went there. Speaking of horsemeat, alot of people around the world eat it. Very popular in France. In Australia, Kangaroo meat is also eaten. I'll be honest though. I wouldn't want my lasagna spiked with horsemeat. This article has little in deciding wheather I go back to Aldi or not.
My mom would shop at Aldi when we were kids. It just seemed like the kind of place where you'd see a story like the one I posted above. I've never shopped there myself, though it's pretty rare that I actually go grocery shopping. The minute I load up on perishables is when I get called out for a week or so.
Wow, ALDI has been around a long time? First I seen them was here when they opened up. I grew up with SAFEWAY's and SUPER GIANT. You gotta wonder at times. Maybe the competition pumps out sorry news from time to time against a competitor that takes away its customers. I say "horse manure".
I actually think the people that shop there are smart. The people you get there are not lazy...fks that can't roll a cart back to its due spot, they are willing to bag their own food to save money, plus they are helping in keeping things GREEN by recycling bags that most people throw away on a one time usage. And if you are willing to substitute a named cereal brand for a similar brand without the name to save you a few bucks, what the heck? You don't have to walk a mile to go inside the joint. Plus who stays in one grocery store? I jump around from Kroger, to walmart, to Sams club, to Joe V's, to Food Town, to Randalls. I hit em all. If you wanna talk cleanliness and nice, I like RANDALLS best. They are owned by SAFEWAY.
Just for now, Aldi's is kind of a new thing. They really are limited in comparison to the other stores. They are what they are.
