My mom would shop at Aldi when we were kids. It just seemed like the kind of place where you'd see a story like the one I posted above. I've never shopped there myself, though it's pretty rare that I actually go grocery shopping. The minute I load up on perishables is when I get called out for a week or so.

I actually think the people that shop there are smart. The people you get there are not lazy...fks that can't roll a cart back to its due spot, they are willing to bag their own food to save money, plus they are helping in keeping things GREEN by recycling bags that most people throw away on a one time usage. And if you are willing to substitute a named cereal brand for a similar brand without the name to save you a few bucks, what the heck? You don't have to walk a mile to go inside the joint. Plus who stays in one grocery store? I jump around from Kroger, to walmart, to Sams club, to Joe V's, to Food Town, to Randalls. I hit em all. If you wanna talk cleanliness and nice, I like RANDALLS best. They are owned by SAFEWAY.

Just for now, Aldi's is kind of a new thing. They really are limited in comparison to the other stores. They are what they are.

Agreed. They pay a fare wage at $12 hr in ATL and BYO Bag which is "tree hugger" friendly..
